Hoc Vien Hai Phao 7C KBC 3319 This cover was sent by Nguyen Thanh Lap, a Trainee on War Ship Cannon Group 7C (Hoc Vien Hai Phao 7C). His military service number, indicated by the line reading "So Quan 7/A701063" indicates that Mr. Nguyen Thanh Lap was born in 1951." His job description, was 331.5 (Dinh Vu So 331.5). While the cancellation is illegible, the cover was almost certainly sent prior to 31 July 1971. On that date Nguyen Thanh Lap sent another letter, and by that time he was a "War Cannon Specialist", having apparently completed his training.
