The sender was with Company 3 (Doi Dai 3) and indicated with the abbreviation "HQ" that the letter was sent when on board a Navy vessel (Hai Quan) or from the field (Hanh Quan). A pair of 5-dong stamps pay the correct 10-dong rate for mail sent by military personnel from this date (9 Jun 1974).
