Can Cu Hai Quan (CCHQ) KBC 6684 This ID Card belonged to Than Van Tham, a Sailor (Thuy Thu) assigned to the Naval Base (CCHQ) at Nam Can, a town in the Southern tip of Viet-Nam. The Naval Base was served by KBC 6684 as shown on the card. Issuance of the card was approved by Major Do Viet Vinh, the Commanding Officer of the Naval Base in Nam Can ("Hai-Quan Thieu-Ta Do Viet Vinh, Chi Huy Truong Can Cu Hai-Quan Nam Can"). It is presumably Major Do's signature that appears on the front of the card together with the offical red handstamp. The backside of the card indicates Than Van Tham was born in Bac Ninh, just Northeast of Hanoi, on October 10, 1952. He was just shy of 22 years old when the card was issued on October 1, 1974.
